Lovely, guest room, ideal for solo guests looking for a comfortable room in, London's vibrant, multi-cultural neighbourhood, Brixton.My home is a short walk away from tube station (Zone 2), also within easy reach of business districts, museum’s, shopping, theatres, music venues & tourist hot spots.Spacious bedroom has a cozy double bed, door lock, clean bed linen, fresh towels, coffee/tea machine, hairdryer & it’s own floor providing more privacy. Guest room also has lots of tropical houseplants, fitted wardrobe, full-length mirror, iron, USB chargers, mood lighting, blockout blind & conveniently next to bathroom. My apartment spreads across upper 3 floors of a converted early 19th-century terraced town house, with lots of modern features, located in a quiet residential street & very close to all local amenities.Shared use of bathroom that has toilet, hand basin, shaver socket & full-size bathtub with shower. Upper floors of my apartment are private. No kitchen use! I take extra steps to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.I’ve lived in London for 40 years & happy to offer suggestions that help you get to see the best of my neighbourhood & this historic city.Brixton is a very culturally diverse, vibrant neighbourhood, easy to get to from all airports/transport hubs & a great location to explore the rest of London from. It hosts an amazing mix of trendy bar's, pubs, live music venues, theatre, multi-screen cinema, museum, wide variety of exotic inexpensive places to eat & all within 5 mins walking distance from my home. Buckingham Palace, Camden Town, Clapham, Covent Garden, London Eye, Notting Hill, Oxford Circus, Shoreditch, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Vauxhall & many other iconic destinations are all a tube or bus ride away. Check out my 'guidebook', it's full of excellent places to visit!My apartment has superb transport links, with tube, railway, 24hr buses & Uber’s to help you get anywhere with ease. Brixton underground station is a short walk away, with trains to Victoria Station (Gatwick), Green Park (Heathrow), Kings Cross/St. Pancras International (Eurostar & Luton), Tottenham Hale (Stansted), all via Victoria Line (24hr Fri/Sat). Brixton is a very culturally diverse, vibrant neighbourhood, easy to get to from all airports/transport hubs & a great location to explore the rest of London from. It hosts an amazing mix of trendy bar's, pubs, live music venues, theatre, multi-screen cinema, museums, wide variety of inexpensive places to eat & all within walking distance from my home. Parking is restricted between 8.30am & 6.30pm, Mon to Sat. Please note that my check in window is between 5pm to 10pm and it's not possible to ‘drop off’ luggage before check in! NO heavy or extra large luggage as there are 3 flights of stairs via narrow staircase & no elevator! I only accept room bookings up to 3 months in advance & I’m very happy that my home is LGBTQ+ friendly. :-)
