6-Month Rental in Sheffield (1st Aug 2026 to early Feb 2027) My husband and I are heading to South Africa for a 6-month fellowship and are looking for cat-loving renters to look after and enjoy our furnished home in Greystones while we’re away. This is a home to be rented with our cats, so we’re ideally looking for someone who genuinely enjoys having pets around. The rental price reflects the cats. Greystones is a popular, family-friendly suburb with excellent schools, independent cafés and shops. Endcliffe Park is a 10-minute walk away, perfect for walks, children, and the Saturday Parkrun. The house is a cosy mid-terrace on a friendly road and includes: * Kitchen/diner * Lounge with wood burner * 2 bedrooms (one king, one double) * 2 bathrooms (attic bedroom has an en-suite) * Small garden with decking – ideal in summer * On-street parking (usually easy to find a space) * There is a 3rd bedroom but we are going to keep that as storage of our personal items The house will be fully furnished. Bills average ~£400 per month, including council tax, gas/electricity, water and internet. A fortnightly cleaner is included and won’t be included in the bills. 🐱 About the Cats Our two lovely cats, Lentil and Leo (boys), will remain in the house. They are very sweet and friendly. They are microchipped and have outdoor access via a cat flap (no litter trays). We’ll provide all food and supplies. We’re hoping to find renters who enjoy having cats as part of the household—this could be perfect for someone who loves pets but can’t have their own long-term. We don’t want to move the cats ideally as it is their home. The rent is below the usual market rate for the area, reflecting the presence of the cats and we’re happy to discuss this. This home would suit someone looking for a short-term let, who enjoys a homely space and is happy sharing it with two very charming cats. We would consider renting per room (£600) and 2 people buddying up as a house share. Bills are separate, outlined above .
