Spacious, fully furnished flat in vibrant Blackhorse Road (station 10 min walk). Flexible start/end date, available while we're away on sabbatical with all bills included! About us: • A couple in their early 30’s - Clare and Ronan. • We are both architects (one Irish, one English) who met in London 7 and a half years ago. • We moved into our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat nearly 3 years ago and have made it our home - we absolutely love living here! • We like to keep the place clean and tidy and are looking for a couple or individual who will respect and enjoy our home as we do. What’s on offer: • We are going on a 5 month sabbatical abroad, and are looking to rent out our spare room (aka our whole flat minus our bedroom/ensuite!) whilst we are away. • This is a minimum 5.5 month let, to align with our trip (End Oct 2026 - Early April 2027). • For 5 months of the lease we won’t be living in the flat so you will have the place to yourself, but our bedroom/ensuite will be off limits as we will keep all of our things stored in there. • We are anticipating a short overlap of approx. 2 weeks living together house-share style immediately before/ after our trip. • There is flexibility on timings either side of the minimum rental period, with the possibility of extending the lease as a house-share for a limited period if you're interested in staying longer (to be agreed). The flat: • 579 sq ft (53.8 sq m) of our 787sq ft first-floor flat (whole flat, excluding master bedroom/ensuite). • Wide hallway leading to a bright open-plan kitchen/living/dining with private, south-facing balcony. • Generous double bedroom (140.6 sq ft / 13 sq m). - Modern private bathroom with rain-head shower over the bath. • Utility cupboard accessed off hallway (incl. washing machine). • Well insulated & double glazing (EPC B), underfloor heating, very quiet/peaceful despite buzzy location (we never hear our neighbours). • The flat is our home, so is fully furnished and kitted out with everything you might need (fully-equipped kitchen, hoover, iron, towels, bedding etc etc), ready to live in comfortably from day one. • Suitable for professionals/work from home friendly, with standing desk available.
