If you want to walk down The Mound to the New Town, you can do that very easily too. Buses are available on The Mound and George IV Bridge. Being so central, there's a huge range of restaurants, bars and shops in the neighbourhood including The Witchery by The Castle which is the perfect combination if you're planning a romantic break.&&&
